WHAT'S NEW!

Mark your calendars for our 2nd Annual University of Cincinnati Diversity Conference to be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010.  This year's theme is Diversity & Inclusion: Leadership Imperatives for Excellence.  The confernce is designed to highlight experiential knowledge and practices that encourage individuals and organizations to build vibrant, diverse and inclusive environments.  The proposal submission period is now open and we are seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join us as conference presenters.

The proposal submission deadline is Wednesday, December 30, 2009.

DIVERSITY COUNCIL OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

The Diversity Council is accessible to the campus community.  Minutes and activities of the Council are updated on a periodic basis to keep the community informed.  Concerns and/or issues to be presented to the Diversity Council should be submitted first to the leadership team for consideration.  They will collectively make a determination if the matter is appropriate for the Diversity Council or if it should be referred elsewhere.  Such matters should be submitted to Kathy Ogden at (513) 556-4119 or Kathy.Ogden@uc.edu.
