Congratulations and welcome to the University of Cincinnati! We are delighted that you have chosen to make UC your new home and we are confident that you will find your experience here to be a remarkably rewarding one.   One of our top priorities is to assist you in making a successful academic and social transition into the University of Cincinnati community. Our programs and services are designed to help you achieve this objective.  For this reason all new freshman students are required to attend an orientation program before their first quarter of classes begin. New freshmen students will not be able to register for their classes until their orientation attendance requirement is met. Make the most of your Orientation and begin the foundation for a successful University of Cincinnati undergraduate experience.
Bearcat Bound Orientation Bearcat Bound Orientation takes place in the summer  between June and August.  All freshmen entering in the fall are required to attend this comprehensive two-day program. Quarterly Orientations All new students are required to attend an orientation program before their first quarter of classes.  Therefore, we offer a one-day program for students entering Winter, Spring and Summer quarters.
