To get started you will need to complete your Bearcat Bound Card.  Please print this page or use the one from the inside cover of the Quick Start brochure.  This will put at your fingertips all your personalized access information that you will need to register for Orientation and access all your placement tests.  Take a few minutes now and follow the step by step instructions to fill out your Bearcat Bound Card.  You may choose not to record your passwords on your card, if you do so, please be sure to commit your passwords to memory so that you will have them when you are asked to supply them. 

You may cut out your Bearcat Bound Card and keep it in a safe and accessible place.  Please bring it with you when you come to campus as you will need this information during Quick Start and Bearcat Bound Orientation. 
 

Getting your Username and UCID Number

• Go to http://www.onestop.uc.edu
• Under “MY INFORMATION” click on  “get my Username”
•  Fill in the form.  You will need the last four digits of your social security number.
• Click on “Find My Username”
• The next page will display both your Username and your UCID number.
• Record this information on your Bearcat Bound Card.

Activating Your Bearcat Online Email (BOL) Account 

• Go to http://onestop.uc.edu
• Under “OTHER RESOURCES” click on “bearcat online email”
• In the box locate the sentence “If you do not know your BOL account information you can find it out here”  and click on “here”
• Fill in the form.  You will need your UCID number.  Click “Submit”.
• Record your Username and Password on your Bearcat Bound Card

Activating Your Blackboard Account
New students will need to activate their accounts in order to log in and use Blackboard.  These instructions will direct you through the process of activation and logging in.

• Finding Blackboard
  UC's OneStop service provides a link to Blackboard.  Please go to http://onestop.uc.edu and look for the line "blackboard" under "Other Resources".
  NOTE: Blackboard can be accessed directly by typing in http://blackboard.uc.edu.
  
• Activating your Blackboard Account
  The link "Please click here to activate your account!" takes you directly to the activation page.  You will need to provide the information requested in order to sucessfully complete the activation of your Blackboard account.  Please be sure to provide a working email address.
  
  After successfully completing the activation form, please save the username and password information given to you.  These credentials will allow you to log in and take math placement the test.
• Logging In
  Once you have your username and password, click the "My UC" tab at the top of the screen to log into Blackboard.  Enter your username and password and click the "Login" button.
