With Dads Weekend quickly approaching (April 24 – 26), some of our events are almost sold out. If you would like to purchase tickets, do so ASAP! If you have already ordered Dads Weekend tickets they will be available for pick-up in Swift Hall, Suite 709, from Wednesday, April 22 – Friday, April 24 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. There are also two events available to participate in that do not require tickets: Food & Fun Friday at the Catskeller and the Bearcat Spring Football Game http://www.uc.edu/sas/parents/Dad%27s_weekend.html for more information.

Sibs Weekend 2009 to Feature Search for ‘Bearcat Idol’
Inspired by the television phenomenon American Idol, Sibs Weekend 2009 will help UC students and their younger brothers and sisters experience UC’s Uptown campus within a Bearcat Idol theme.
The action-packed weekend will be filled with events for grade school, high school and even older-aged siblings. They’ll be challenged to attend all the weekend’s events while collecting as many tickets as possible. The cost to attend is $20 per person, which includes three meals (Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch) and a Sibs Weekend T-shirt.
Sibs Weekend 2009 is presented by the Student Alumni Council, the student organization affiliated with the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association.

Bearcats Athletics Dominates Greater Cincinnati Area
The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics continues to strive for excellence, both in competition and in value for the entire student body. Athletics is an important element of a student’s campus experience, and these students are an integral part of the game day atmosphere which helps to maximize our team’s performance.
UC Athletics is riding a wave of support due to an extremely successful 2008-2009 season which witnessed the first BCS Bowl Game in UC history as the Bearcats travelled to the Orange Bowl, a Co-BIG EAST Championship for the Volleyball team and another National Championship for the UC Dance Team. All parents are encouraged to be a part of the atmosphere and their students’ experience by attending a UC Athletics event with their student. Student guest ticket information is available to students at www.GoBearcats.com, the UC Department of Athletics main source for information.
Two new season ticket offers for students and their families are the Student Season Ticket and the Student Guest Season Ticket. With the purchase of a student season ticket for $30, students are able to purchase a maximum of two additional season tickets for Bearcats football for any fans who are not current students for only $150 per ticket. These new season ticket packages were created with the assistance of the UC Student Government and the RallyCats, the student spirit organization, who desired a more convenient method of obtaining tickets.
Alternatively, the Bearcats currently have football season tickets on sale now with some great sideline reserved seating options still available. With the best home schedule in UC Football history which includes games against Southeast Missouri State, Fresno State, Louisville, Connecticut, West Virginia and Illinois, season tickets are the best value in Cincinnati for great football.
