UC Parents Association and the DuBois Bookstore Annual Student Essay Contest!

UCPA Members,

Please encourage your students to enter the 2009 UC Parents Association/DuBois Bookstore Annual Essay Contest.  Students must submit a cover letter and a short essay (500 - 1000) words to the University of Cincinnati Parents Association by Friday, August 28, 2009.

Five winners will be selected.  The top three will receive FREE BOOKS FALL QUARTER, compliments of the DuBois Bookstore.  The two runners up will each receive a $50 gift card to the DuBois Bookstore.

ESSAY PROMPT: Please explain the role that your parents or family have had in your life up to this point. 

How to enter:

- Students must be full-time. 

- Family must be members of the UCPA

Cover sheet should include:

- Student’s name

- Student’s telephone number

- Student’s email address

- Indicate whether or not you are willing to have your essay posted on the University of Cincinnati Parents Association website and other UCPA publications

- Parent name(s)

- Parent’s address

- Parent’s telephone number

- Parent’s email address

 
 Submit the essay and cover sheet as a Microsoft WORD document attachment in an email to marie.knecht@uc.edu
