Information for Students Applying to Health Professions Programs for 2010
Letter of recommendation documents:
- Letter of Recommendation Form (for your recommenders; applicants, please read both sides of this form)
- Letter Service Form (lets PPAC know where to send your rec letters; please read both sides of this form)
- You may email (preproadv@uc.edu), deliver (Swift 702), or fax (556-6368) completed Letter Service Forms.
- YES! We use Virtual Evals
Note to students applying to MD programs: If you plan to use the PPAC Letter Service (to have your recommendations submitted by us to your designated medical schools), please remember to select the "Letter Packet" option in the Letters of Evaluation section of your AMCAS application. If you believe that it is necessary to customize your letters for particular schools, please schedule an appointment with a PPAC advisor to discuss this process.
Due dates:
- Letters of Recommendation Form (must accompany each rec letter) - due Friday, July 3, 2009(postmarked)
- Letter Service Forms - due when completing secondary applications (or primary applications if applying to programs with no secondary process). Please submit the Letter Service forms only once you know that all of your recommendations have been received at the PPAC.
Pre-Pharmacy:
UC students applying to pharmacy school should contact Denise Gabrelski, pre-pharmacy advisor at the Pre-Professional Advising Center, by e-mail or phone (513)556-2166.
