UC Senior Experience seeks to: enhance your awareness of senior-focused activities, increase each senior's preparation and prospects for post-graduate education, and encouraging a sense of unity among the senior class which can serve as the foundation for later alumni networking and future financial support of UC!

For many students, making the decision to go to graduate school is a major step in their career and professional development and very attractive in this downturned economy. It is so important that you have current and accurate information to help you in this decision-making process. For example, at the University of Cincinnati, there are an overwhelming number of graduate school programs offered at UC alone, and a number of ways in which students can explore these programs as a viable option. This can be a tedious and intimidating experience - even for those whose career path is established.
Therefore, each year, the Senior Year Experience program collaborates with the Career Development Center to tap into several campus resources that can assist students in deciding if graduate school is the best next step for you, and if so, what steps are needed to successfully apply for advanced degrees.
This event is called the Graduate School Symposium. At the symposium you will get the answers to common questions such as:
• What is the Graduate Admissions process?
• How do I obtain Graduate Study Financial Aid?
• What is my timeline and what are my action steps?
• How do I write a successful Personal Statement?
• What are the Graduate School Tests and preparation?
You, the student, will also here from a Panel of Graduate Students that will tell you what Graduate School is like. So please, come join us for this important event.
