Testing Services

Testing Services offers a secure and comfortable environment that includes a computer testing lab with 9 stations, a paper/pencil facility, and 4 computer stations dedicated to placement and internet-based exams. Testing Services strives to meet the needs of UC students, prospective students, alumni, and the greater Cincinnati community by providing an array of services including the administration of exams such as the:

• ACT Residual (American College Testing)
• GRE (Graduate Record Exam)
• Praxis I (Reading, Writing, and Math placement exams for entrance into teaching programs) and Praxis II (Teaching Licensing Certification Exams)
• NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching Standards)
• TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
• LSAT (Law School Admission Test)
• MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)
• CLEP (College Level Examination Program)  

In addition, Testing Services provides outside proctoring of examinations for distance learning programs, such as on-line education courses through other Colleges and Universities who require proctored administrations of mid-term and final exams as well as professional certification programs such as insurance, finance, public relations, human resources, etc. in order to foster excellence in higher education and create opportunities for success.  The fee for outside proctoring is $40.00 per session.  Candidates may take more than one exam in a session that is not to exceed four hours.

Please note that most exams are given by appointment only and require pre-payment and pre-registration, but we do offer walk-in and stand-by opportunities as well. Please feel free to contact us during the following days and times.
