Senior Class Officers

Mission of the Senior Class Officers

The Senior Class Officers are executives of the Student Development Council. SDC works with The University of Cincinnati Foundation to educate the UC student body about the impact private support has on their educational experience and encourages students and young alumni to provide financial support to the University’s colleges and programs. The officers' major project is to raise support for the Senior Challenge.

Why we should give back to UC: Throughout the tenure of our stay at UC, we have had the opportunity to reap the rewards of generations of hard work.  As we start to stride in our professional careers, its important to stay humble and realize we would not be where we are today without the countless individuals who have given back to the University.  We must continue this trend so that new students can grow and develop like we have.

Why we should give back to UC: I feel as though the University of Cincinnati has provided me with so much that it is simply essential for me to give back in as many ways as possible.  This University has given me an exemplary degree, outlets to develop my leadership to levels unimaginable, an improved character, self confidence and courage, lasting relationships, means to give back to the community, and endless opportunities to pursue anything I desire.  My experiences while at UC have enabled me to leave my mark on this great campus and build a sense of pride.  I will graduate feeling very honored to be part of the University of Cincinnati community, and I feel it’s important for more students to gain the amazing experience I have while at UC.  Therefore, whether it’s monetary donations or dedication of time and efforts, it is important to give back to UC so all future students can have these amazing experiences too.

Why we should give back to UC: From the friendships, memories, and experiences that we have shared over the past years, we owe it all to UC. We would not be at the point in which we are at now, if it had was not for us taking full advantage of the resources that UC has to offer. UC has exposed me to so many amazing people and opportunities that have been truly life changing and empowering experiences. And as our duties as loyal bearcats, I feel that we should give back to our alma mater to allow those same opportunities for future bearcats.

Why we should give back to UC: It is important to give back to the University of Cincinnati because, as students and members of the Bearcat Community, we have gained much from our alma mater that has brought us to where we are in our lives. Whether you are a senior getting ready to take the next big step into life after college or an alumnus who graduated over a decade ago, the University of Cincinnati is part of who you are. It is important to give back however one can and to remain engaged with the UC community to ensure future students receive the same or an ever greater quality of education than we did. Giving back to UC is also an outstanding way to demonstrate you are Proudly Cincinnati!

Why we should give back to UC: I believe it is important to give back to UC because of the experience UC has given to all of us. I'm not only talking about the educational and professional experience through the classroom and co-op, but also the social experience. Through getting involved in many organizations, I have met some people I will be friends with for the rest of my life and this is all thanks to the great community UC has built. Give back to UC because UC has given so much to you!

Why we should give back to UC: I think we should give back to UC because UC has given us so much through our undergraduate career. All the great experiences we've had at UC can be attributed to the contributions of alumni. By continuing to give back to the school that provided so much for us, we’re allowing future students and generations to have at least the same opportunities that we’ve had.

Why we should give back to UC:  I think it’s important to act selflessly towards an organization that gives its resources and options to all those interested in taking advantage of a great opportunity.  It’s important to give back to UC not only because it was given to us, but so that we can pass on that great legacy to our future doctors, nurses, engineers, and designers.  The University is where our future leaders and workforce will blossom.  Giving back not only helps the University but the Cincinnati community and the city in general.  In the end, it helps all of us.
