Cincinnati Smart isn't just a campaign. It's a lifestyle. When I confirmed my acceptance to the University of Cincinnati, I realized nothing will be the same. I knew opportunities will be at my finger tips and I will graduate as a young professional, but if I wanted to reach my full potential I had to become Cincinnati Smart. My first year at University of Cincinnati was everything I thought it would be and more. I became a Student Orientation Leader, Kolodzik Business Scholar, Dean List Recipient, and Community Chair of the United Black Student Association all because I put myself in uncomfortable positions and took advantage of the opportunities given to me. I plan to get more involved on campus, co-op in the upcoming spring semester and study abroad before I graduate but most importantly I want to improve the community around us by volunteering and sharing my story. I am Cincinnati Smart.
