BSW Advanced Standing
The following policy applies to undergraduate students in the School of Social Work:
To be admitted to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, you must already have earned at least 90 quarter credits or 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university. If you earned more credits than this, you may receive advanced standing for those credits and have them counted as electives toward your BSW
To receive advanced standing for any class, the following conditions must be met:
- The class must have been 300 level or above.
- You must have earned a "C" or better in the class.
- The class must not have been used to fulfill the requirements for you to earn an associate or equivalent degree.
- The class must not have been used to fulfill the requirements for you to be admitted to the BSW program
