Three-year Part-time MSW Plan

If you choose this plan, you take most of your classes on a part-time basis, and you complete the program within three years.

This plan of study has two main components: classroom instruction and field instruction. Classroom instruction is where you learn the skills you need to work in the field. Then, you get the chance to apply that knowledge through field instruction in a social service agency.

You take six to nine credit hours each quarter during your first year and begin field instruction in the winter quarter of your second year. In your last year, you may have to carry a full-time load up to 14 credit hours per quarter.
