Applying to the Master of Social Work Program

Below are the necessary steps to apply for admission to the Master of Social Work program. Please remember:

  • The materials that you are required to submit do not have to arrive at the same time. The school keeps an application file for you. As new materials arrive, they are added to your file.

  • It is your responsibility to verify that all materials are received by the school. The school cannot make an admission decision until all necessary materials have arrived.

  • There is not a firm application deadline. Applications are accepted until the program is filled, which usually happens in May.

  • To view and print the files you download from this site, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0. It's a free download from Adobe.

  • The following steps do not apply if you want to enroll in the one-year advanced standing master's program. For that program, see Applying to the One-Year Advanced Standing Program.
