Software Distribution for Statistical Packages and ZoomText

The UCit Instructional and Research Computing Software Distribution Office distributes the software and licenses for JMP, Mathematica, SAS, SPSS, SigmaPlot, SigmaStat, and ZoomText. For other site licensed software, please see the UCit Software page.

Statistical Packages Site License Program

Faculty and staff of the University of Cincinnati may purchase site licenses for the software. Students may purchase a license for SAS and JMP.

Under the typical site license program, you purchase a license to use the software for one year, not the software itself. To continue using the software, you must purchase a new license each year. Each site license has its own terms and conditions. Almost all academic site license agreements prohibit commercial and administrative use of the software. You may not distribute or transfer the software.

Ordering the License and Media

You must purchase a license for each installation.  You must also purchase the media (CDs). A department may purchase a single set of CDs for all installations.
