Clarence Garrison, an Industrial Management student from Cleveland, OH, is empowering the community not only through service but also through education. Co-founder of the Un-Tapped Clothing brand, Clarence has been challenged by balancing school, work and personal life.
“The most important thing that I learned throughout everything is that 'the world was not built in a day.' Steady progression is the best way to meet any goal,” states Clarence.
When asked why he chose UC and his major, Clarence had this to say:
"I chose UC because it was the premier school in computer engineering in the State of Ohio. I wanted to go to a university that would challenge me academically, so I will be a well-prepared professional post-graduation. My major gives me the ability to use my strong technical skills in a business environment, where I can increase productivity for an organization."
Clarence had this advice for fellow students wanting to follow in his footsteps, “No one can chase their dreams without first learning how to walk. It is important to build a solid foundation [with education] before pursuing anything in life."
