Arts and Humanities Programs

Classical Guitar Workshop
The workshop is a rich environment of players of all levels from all ages and geographical locations -- junior high school through college and graduate school, young professionals in music and other fields, and retirees. The common denominator is love for the classical guitar.

Great Wall International Music Academy
Held in Beijing, China during the summer holiday every year, The Great Wall International Music Academy (GWIMA) is a month-long classical music education summer institute for gifted string players at the age of 10 to 25 from China, the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe and around the world.

Science and Nature Programs

Experiential summer classes open to non-credit-seeking students.

The College of Arts and Sciences goes outdoors this summer with experiential (hands-on) classes in Archaeology, Biology, Geography, and  Geology.  Offered for college credit to our students, these courses are also open to the general public at a greatly discounted cost without college credit.
