1. Visit http://sat.collegeboard.org/home for official rules, procedures, and information about the test prior to the test day. UC Testing Services is required to strictly follow all SAT rules and regulations put in place by The College Board. No exceptions to these rules will be made.
2. Identification Requirements
You must have your admission ticket and photo identification to be admitted to the test room. Forms of photo identification that are acceptable are state-issued driver's license, state-issued nondriver identification, school ID card, passport, government-issued ID, or a School ID Form. If you are testing as part of the Talent Search program (grades seven and eight only), you can bring the Talent Identification Program ID/Authorization to Test Form as your identification.
3. Prohibited Items
You will not be permitted to use any electronic device (cell phone, pager, iPod, MP3 player, etc.) during the test, including your breaks. All electronic devices must be turned off and must make no noise during testing. All prohibited items must remain under your desk for the duration of the test.
4. Test Day Timing
Be aware of the timing of the test day. The following is an approximation of the schedule that will be followed, however, circumstances may arise that cause testing to be delayed:
7:45am: Student reporting time.
8:00am: Test center doors close.
8:15am-8:45am: Test instructions are read.
8:45am: Testing begins.
12:45pm-1:00pm: Testing ends.
