C. Francis Barrett, Chairman of the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees has designated the membership of a Presidential Search Committee and established
a schedule for the committee's initial meetings.
The first committee sessions will provide opportunities to interview Interim President. Santa J. Ono. During four sessions, Ono will share his vision for the University of Cincinnati if named president, and will answer questions and discuss matters of importance concerning the University. The interview sessions will take place in the
Room 620 of the University Pavilion Building at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8,
Wednesday, Oct. 10, Thursday, Oct. 11, and Friday, Oct. 12.
"The duty of the Search Committee is to assist the Board of Trustees in identifying candidates for the position of President of the University of Cincinnati," Barrett said.
"Due to the unique circumstances of the current situation, and out of a desire to receive broad-based input and to build widespread consensus, I am appointing additional participants beyond those required under the University Bylaws."
The first committee meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 in the Russell C. Myers Alumni Center, 2906 Woodside Drive, on the UC campus.
Nicole Blount will serve as secretary to the committee. Those members identified
by an asterisk are appointed pursuant to University Rule 3361:10-6-01(A).
