C. Francis Barrett is a lifelong resident of the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. He is the president and one of the founding members of the downtown Cincinnati law firm of Barrett & Weber.
Mr. Barrett is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati (J.D., 1971), and he holds the highest ratings for legal ability and general ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University (B.S., 1968), and upon graduation was commissioned an officer in the United States Army Reserve where he was promoted to the rank of captain before being honorably discharged.
Mr. Barrett is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Convalescent Hospital for Children and previously served tenures as president and chairman of the board. He is presently a member of the Board of Trustees of Mercy Health Partners Foundation. He has also served as an officer and trustee of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He has been a member of the Ohio Building Authority and is currently vice chairman of the Ohio Building Authority.
