Ronald D. Brown currently serves as Vice Chairman of The Armor Group, a certified woman owned corporation which provides manufactured goods and services to a variety of industries. He is the retired Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Milacron Inc., a leading supplier of plastics processing and industrial fluids technologies with major manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia.
Ron received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University Of Dayton School Of Law.
Ron serves on the board of directors of A.O. Smith, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a global S&P 500 manufacturing company. He also serves on the board of directors of Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc., and as an independent trustee for the James Advantage Funds Trust, a diverse group of mutual funds.
In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of the University of Cincinnati, Ron serves as a director for the University of Cincinnati Research Institute and on various not-for-profit boards, including the Bethesda Foundation and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Ron is currently a member of Legatus, the Commercial Club of Cincinnati, the Queen City Optimists Club and the Management Executive Society.
Past community service includes serving on the boards of United Way of Greater Cincinnati, the American Red Cross, Cincinnati Chapter, having served as its Chairman, the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Cincinnati Business Committee, as well as Chairman of the Steering Committee for Leadership Cincinnati, a leadership development program for the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce.
Ron and his wife, Linda, have two children and four grandchildren, all of whom reside in the Cincinnati area.
