This month, Academic Information Technologies and Libraries(AIT&L) will roll out the new version of eProfessional—a digital professional portfolio for faculty, staff and students that will serve as a place to store professional information, including CVs, biographical sketches, annual reports and personal Web pages. This site will also give researchers the tools and information they need to search for potential collaborators across campus, and will provide alerts about potential grant opportunities and newly published literature. While implementation began with the College of Pharmacy and the neurology department in the College of Medicine, I’m pleased to tell you that the Office of Research is supporting expansion of eProfessional to faculty and staff throughout the university. AIT&L is already meeting with other colleges and departments to begin implementation. Look for a link to eProfessional at research.uc.edu. We hope you find this resource to be a valuable tool that will help you in your research endeavors.
As always, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to check out research.uc.edu for the latest research news and announcements.
