The Faculty Research Support Program is designed to support the development of faculty research and scholarship. The program provides financial support for faculty research programs, especially for those in the initial stages of developing a line of research or scholarship. Successful applicants are expected to present records of prior activity that indicate a devotion to scholarship and the potential for high-quality achievement. Faculty at the University of Cincinnati are eligible to apply.

The URC Summer Faculty Research Fellowship Program is designed to support the development of faculty research and scholarship. The program provides financial support over the summer months to faculty who are in the initial stages of developing a line of research or scholarship. Successful applicants are expected to present records of prior activity that indicate a devotion to scholarship and the potential for high-quality achievement. All full-time members of the university faculty are eligible to apply for these summer fellowships.

The Interdisciplinary Faculty Research Program is designed to support pilot research projects that are part of a collaborative effort between faculty in at least two different disciplines. The goal of this program is to establish collaborative research efforts that will result in competitive research proposals to national funding agencies. Successful applicants are expected to present a record of prior activity that indicates a devotion to scholarship and the potential for high-quality achievement. All full-time members of the University of Cincinnati Faculty are eligible for this award.

Summer Graduate Student Research Fellowships
(Summer stipend)

The program provides summer stipend support to outstanding graduate students. The funding is provided so that the awardee may pursue scholarly activities on a full-time basis from July 1 through Aug. 31.
The stipend level is $3,000 for two months ($1,500 per month). Applications will only be accepted from the graduate programs. The number of applications submitted through each graduate program is limited, and there is a requirement for a pre-review by the department/college of the applicant.
