Early Arrival Information
All Residence Halls re-open for Spring Semester 2014 on
Sunday, January 5, 2014.
Please check into your residence hall between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Eligibility: Only for residents that have a special circumstance requiring arrival prior to hall opening. Special circumstances may include: orientation, testing, University employment, Athletic requirements, or other similar University business. If you need early arrival accommodations for any other reasons, contact Housing & Food Services prior to submitting an online request.
Temporary housing for non-residents is not available during this time.
Current residents on a 12-month contract do not need to apply for Early Arrival.
Available Dates: Thursday, January 2 through Saturday, January 4.
Deadline: All early arrival requests must be submitted by Monday, December 30 at 5PM. Requests received after the deadline will not be approved.
Fees: $25 per night prior to the residence halls official semester opening. Early Arrival fees will be placed on your student account and should be paid prior to arrival.
To Apply: Complete the online request form before Monday, December 30. Emailed or verbal requests will not be accepted.
Notification: Early Arrival requests are reviewed daily Monday through Friday. Notification of approval or denial of your request will be communicated via email to your UConnect account from Housing & Food Services beginning Friday, December 20 through Mopnday, December 30.
Dining Services: Spring Semester board plans will be active beginning Monday, January 6 at CenterCourt Dining Center and MarketPointe. For dining options prior to January 6 visit the Food Services page.
