Eligibility: Only for residents that have a special circumstance requiring arrival prior to hall opening. Special circumstances may include: orientation, testing, University employment, Athletic requirements, or other similar University business. If you need early arrival accommodations for any other reasons, contact Housing & Food Services prior to submitting an online request.
Temporary housing for non-residents is not available during this time.
Current residents on a 12-month contract do not need to apply for Early Arrival.
Available Dates: Wednesday, January 2 through Saturday, January 5
Deadline: All early arrival requests must be submitted by Sunday, December 30 at 12 p.m. Requests received after the deadline will not be approved.
Fees: $25 per night prior to the residence halls official quarter opening. Payment must be made directly to Housing & Food Services in advance of your arrival. Note that this charge cannot be placed on your student account. Forms of payment accepted: money order, cash, check, Master Card, and Visa.
To Apply: Complete the online request form before Sunday, December 30. Emailed or verbal requests will not be accepted.
Notification: Early Arrival requests are reviewed daily Monday through Friday. Notification of approval or denial of your request will be communicated via email to your UConnect account from Housing & Food Services beginning Wednesday, December 12 through Monday, December 31.
