Each quarter, Housing offers an opportunity for residents to swap roommates or change rooms/halls in an effort to increase their satisfaction with their living environment.  Room/Hall changes are only offered if there is space available.

Based on availability, Room Change and Room Swap will be offered for the 2012 Spring Quarter to all residents begining Monday, April 16 through Friday, May 4.

To qualify for a hall/room change:

1. Students in all halls are eligible to change rooms.
2. Complete the Online Room Change Form.
3. Meet the requirements to live on the floor in the hall you request (For example, you must be a Honors student to live on an Honors floor).
4. Have a zero balance on your student account to move to a higher cost bed space.
5. Pay the prorated amount of the cost difference between your current assignment and your new assignment for the rate increase before the move can take place.
   

To qualify for a room swap:

1. Students in all halls are eligible to swap rooms.
2. Find another resident who is interested in swapping rooms with you.
3. Complete the Online Room Swap Form.
4. Meet the requirements to live on the floor in the hall you are swapping into (For example, you must be a Honors student to live on an Honors floor).
5. Have a zero balance on your student account to move to a higher cost bed space.
6. Pay the prorated amount of the cost difference between your current assignment and your new assignment for the rate increase before the move can take place.

To swap or change into Schneider Hall or Campus Recreation Center you must be an upperclass or transfer student.

Residents cannot swap into vacant spaces or overflow rooms.
