Request Static IP Address

Static IP addresses are assigned to the following devices:

• A network server - requires a static IP so the user community can connect to the server using a specific IP or name.
• A network printer - requires a static IP so the user community can print to a specific printer using a specific IP or name.
• A device installed on the network that cannot be configured for DHCP and must have a static IP to communicate.
• A device running a software package that requires a static IP in order for the application to perform.
