The instructional design team has been developing Flash based reusable course objects or templates since it was established in early 2006. The faculty is at the center of the instructional design process which is often based on the Rapid Prototyping version of the ADDIE model.
Most of the software developed at the center is reusable. It uses Excel or XML files to sequence material and menus, and the digital content as videos, audios, images or text documents can be dragged and dropped into appropriate folders.
The following list has brief descriptions and sample views of some of our templates in use. These templates are available for redesign and distribution to the faculty at UC. For further information, please contact the instructional design team at id@uc.edu.
Cue Setter The faculty version of the cue setter program gives faculty the ability to synchronize presentation slide, including PowerPoint slides, to audio lectures. The student version allows student to view and listen to a series of their class lectures from a pull down menu.
Eraser Lectures The eraser in the program enables synchronization of the information within pages or slides with the audio lectures. The portion of the pages are revealed in co-ordination with the audio lectures.
