Your Computer Labs and STRC

UCit operates six computer labs at various locations on UC's main campus. These labs feature Macintosh and Windows computers, running a variety of software for word processing, spreadsheets, statistics, graphics, and Internet access. Lab locations include the following:
- 630 Steger Student Life Center
- 412 Teachers College
- 031 McMicken Hall
- 460 Langsam Library
- 475 Langsam Library
- 477 Langsam Library (open area just outside 460/475)
UCit also provides Internet Express kiosks in three locations, including eleven in 200 University Pavilion, three on the lower level of Tangeman University Center near the movie theater entrance, and two in the lobby of the UCit Student Technology Resources Center (STRC) in 630 Steger. Students can use these standing-height computer stations to quickly check their email or access web sites between classes.
In addition to our full-time labs, UCit provides extended evening and weekend hours for two labs in the College of Arts and Science, at the following locations:
- 825 Old Chemistry Building
- 616C Rieveschl Hall
Located on Mainstreet, just across the patio from TUC, the UCit Student Technology Resources Center (STRC) in 630 Steger Student Life Center provides the following technology services for students:
- 24-hour computer lab
- Student Walk-in Help Desk
- Internet Express kiosks
- Multimedia editing room
- Wireless network access
- Breakout rooms for small group work
