Public Saftey Rekeys Electronic Classrooms

During the upcoming quarter break, Public Safety is changing the locks on all of the doors to electronic classrooms on west campus. New locks will be installed on the microphone drawers in instructor workstations in the classrooms as well. Key 25A12 will be replaced with an A1DDC2 key.

During exam week, Access Control will distribute the new keys to individual colleges. If you are listed by your department as already having a 25A12, you will be issued a new key, which you can obtain by contacting your department head's office.

To obtain an electronic classroom key for the first time or for help with any questions, please send email to Kathi Johnson or visit the west campus Key Control and ID Badge office, located in Edwards 3. Generally, Key Control has a new key ready for pickup 24 hours following a request. Please remember:   You need a current UC ID to obtain a key from Key Control.
