Collage Simplifies Web Site Development

Serena Collage is a Content Management System (CMS) in extensive use at the University of Cincinnati. OneStop, UC Mobile, UC Women’s Center, and UCit are among the most recent CMS web sites deployed, and the list is growing.

Advantages of using the CMS include:

• simplification of the process of getting materials on the web
• an organized process for group participation in the development of the web pages
• a design that facilitates maintenance by various individuals or departments
• a process that assures harmony with other UC sites

Users do not need a lot of technical expertise, but UCit offers, and recommends, training for new users.
