  Announcing Zix Deployment

  To assist UC staff and our affiliates to ensure compliance with the HIPAA federal regulations concerning the safeguarding of personally identifiable health related information, UCit and the College of Medicine have partnered to implement an e-mail encryption service using appliances from the ZIX Corporation.

  Office 2007 Suite and Support Available

  UC faculty and staff can now obtain media for the Office 2007 Suite - Enterprise
edition from the UC Bookstores. Student media, and media for faculty and staff to install this software at home, will become available in late April.

  Daylight Savings Time Change
May Impact Online Calendar Programs
   
 

As a result of Congressional legislation passed in 2005, the shift to daylight-saving time will occur three weeks earlier than usual this year. This change has the potential to cause some computer software glitches in that online calendar programs have been pre-programmed to the old changeover schedule.
