IRC Offers Computer Lab Services to UC Departments

The Instructional and Research Computing division of UCit is now offering Lab Services to UC departments. This new service provides cost-effective operational support for student computer labs, and includes the following features:
- access to software applications on UCit's lab file servers
- a secure workstation installation
- controlled user access using UC-standard account names
- up to ten hours per week of technical assistance with lab computer issues
- coordination of lab software updates, including any needed security patches
- incorporation of lab printers in the UC Print Management service (optional)
