UCit Offers Web Billing

The UCit Telemanagement, Billing, and Core Applications groups are proud to announce the completion of a web based monthly billing statement to coincide with, and complement the Spring Quarter roll out of the new Pinnacle Telemanagement System. This web application billing statement is intended to replace the current monthly mail out billing in the very near future. The electronic replacement of the current system will, without a doubt, generate a savings to the University in printing, sorting, and mailing cost, but for the customer there will be several significant advantages.
The web based application billing statement will allow UCit's customers to access their current and historic billings with the option of printing or downloading billing information to spreadsheet format. Billing information will be accessible on demand and no longer reliant on University Mail or by special report requests. This application provides department authorized security to insure the confidentiality of billing information. Through the use of the security access function, an authorized user can disseminate billing information to appropriate department approval levels, without the tedious and time-consuming process of separating, copying, and distributing forms.
UCit consistently strives to enhance its services to the University community. This application is one of the improvements that will help us give our customers faster, more cost effective access to their monthly, and historic, records of telecommunication usage.
