New HELP Number, Same Great Service

The UCit Help Desk is always looking for ways to improve service. For instance, did you know that you can access system and data communication status information via the Help Desk web banner or by pressing "1" when calling?
Now, we are making our phone number easier to remember. Beginning 1 July, the new UCit Help Desk phone number will be 556-HELP. (You may still call 556-3785 for approximately a year while we transition over to the new number). So, we now have a new phone number with the same great service.
The UCit Help Desk provides first level support for data and phone communications and all computing concerns for the faculty, staff, and students of UC. This support includes the mainframe, file servers, email servers (UCMail and Bearcat Online), Blackboard, OZ, and remote access. Additionally, we support software and hardware for both Windows and Macintosh PCs.
