At a Town Hall meeting in the Vontz Hall auditorium on Wednesday, 14 January, the University of Cincinnati announced, to an overflowing crowd of UC community members, IBM as the selected implementation partner for the Financial System Replacement Project (FSRP).

UC President, Dr. Nancy Zimpher, led off the Town Hall meeting (the third in a continuing series of FSRP community meetings) emphasizing the importance of the project in streamlining University business processes, and announcing that after a comprehensive review process, the University had selected IBM.

The project's executive co-sponsors, Dale McGirr, Vice President for Finance, and Fred Siff, Vice President & CIO, along with executives from both SAP and IBM, detailed the project timeline, committed goals and objectives, and the role of the UC community in ensuring their successful attainment.
