SPSS 21 for Macintosh: 10.6 or 10.7 (32-bit and 64-bit)

SPSS system requirements

SPSS  runs on Windows 32bit and 64bit  versions.  When purchasing SPSS  for Windows, you need to match the SPSS  version (32bit or 64bit) to what your computer is running (32bit or 64bit).  To find if your computer is running 32bit or 64bit, see this Microsoft article.

Bookstore Purchases

Students may purchase SPSS at the UC Bookstore.

Faculty/staff may purchases SPSS at the Bookstore, but Bookstore sales are strictly for purchases where the employee’s department will not pay using departmental funds via GETIT.

Users can purchase one license and use for two installs: one for home/laptop and one for office computer.  This is for faculty/staff and students.

Modeler & Text Analytics is available only to faculty for instruction and/or research purposes. No charge for the license but $5 for CD.

Expiration

The license expires annually; a new license must be purchased each year to continue to use the software.

Modeler and Text Analytics expires on February 28.

All other products expire August 31.
