Branding Revisions 2006 and 2007



A brand is not a static thing. To properly reflect an institution’s message, a brand evolves, changes and adapts.

A newly revised Branding Standards Manual is now available. All UC communicators should read the manual, which provides details on what’s been added in 2006 and 2007, including:

  • Unit Pairing Option — restrictions and explanation
  • Merchandise seal -- restrictions and explanation
  • Alternate logos – restrictions and explanation
  • Color change – a newly defined red
  • Printing – new one- and two-color printing restrictions
  • Accent colors – explanation and usage guide
  • Symbol – new graphic treatment allowed
  • Unit identities (subsystems) – IUE clarification and process
  • Contact information – additions and updates
