This area is used to store information about UC people who are featured in profiles and news releases. On the opening screen, the user has the following options:

• Search for a Person – must enter all or part of the last name and an optional first name. It will return a list of persons matching the search criteria.
  
• View All Persons – will give a list of all Active persons in the database.
  
• Add New Person – will allow the user to enter new Person into the database.
  

When the user clicks "View All Persons" or searches for a person, a list of results will be returned. The user can then click on the Person’s name to preview that Person information.

Preview a Person

• The preview screen displays information about the person. It will also display a photo if there is one available. The user will have the option to edit the person’s information by clicking "Edit this Person."

Edit/Add New Person

• First Name - The first name of the person.
  
• Last Name - The last name of the person.
  
• Full Name - The full name of the person, including prefixes and suffixes.
  
• UserID - The 6 plus 2 userID of the Person (if known or available).
  
• UC Staff? - A yes/no field whether or not the person is a UC Staff member.
  
• UC Faculty? - A yes/no field whether or not the person is a UC Faculty member.
  
• UC Student? - A yes/no field whether or not the person is a UC Student.
  
• UC Alumni? - A yes/no field whether or not the person is a UC Alumni.
  
• UC Researcher? - A yes/no field whether or not the person is a UC Researcher.
  
• If person is a Student, Add hometown information, Major, Minor. Ignore "Outside the Classroom," "Real World Experience," and "My Advice."
  
• College - Select from dropdown list.
  
• Low-Res Photo - The user can browse for a low resolution photo of the person to be uploaded to the database. If editing person information, the user has the option to View or Delete the current photo if one is available. Required width and height dimensions are 135px X 135px.
  
• High-Res Photo - The user can browse for a high resolution photo of the person to be uploaded to the database. If editing person information, the user has the option to View or Delete the current photo if one is available. Required width and height dimensions are 75px X 100px.
  
• Status - The user will select Inactive or Active status. Only Active persons can be associated with information releases.
  
• Submit person.
