Orientation Program

At least four times a year a day-long program is offered to orient new researchers to conducting research at the University of Cincinnati.

Program announcements: Approximately 60 days ahead of each event an announcement with the details, such as time, location and registration instructions and deadline, is distributed via an email distribution list. If you would like to be added to this list, click here carol.fabby@ucmail.uc.edu and request that your name be added to the list.

Target audience: Newly hired research coordinators and nurses.

Learning objectives: Review of the fundamentals of clinical research (clinical development, ethical concerns, UC’s IRB processes, funding, study management, regulatory documents, and subject coordination).

Registration: There is no fee for this program, but you must pre-register for planning purposes (limited seating availability). The registration deadline will be included in each event’s announcement.
