The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) is facilitated through the Office of Research.

The UC Postdoctoral Fellows Association (PDFA) is a subset of the OPA that comprises postdoc spokespersons whose goal is to represent, enhance and unite the UC postdoctoral population. This is currently accomplished through the development of postdoctoral seminars, including research and career-building seminars; dissemination of postdoc-relevant information; and discussion and delivery of topics/issues relevant to postdocs to the Office of Research.

Membership in the PDFA is open to all non-faculty doctorate-holding UC members.
