The UC Women’s Center Reclaim Peer Advocates are trained to respond to the needs of students who are victims of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. We have created this page in order to introduce the advocates and share with the students, staff and faculty some of the reasons for why they have devoted their time to this service. Peer Advocates can be reached 24-hours a day at 513.218.9531 should you need help! If you are interested in the Reclaim Program or in becoming a Peer Advocate, please contact Kimberly Fulbright, program coordinator for activism and education, at 513-556-4328 or Kimberly.Fulbright@uc.edu.

Why I'm an advocate...
I have seen the effects of sexual assault and I want to help put much of it to an end. I know that it is common amongst college-age students and want to be there with resources for those in need or want of them at the University of Cincinnati. I want students to feel safe on and around campus and especially to never feel alone.

Why I'm an Advocate...
As an advocate, I want to be able to help men and women that have been sexually assaulted or abuse. I feel that most people that have been through this horrible event usually are not aware of all the amazing programs and people that can help through such a tough time. I want to be able to help these students and community members to feel safe knowing there are programs and students that can be there for them to help.
Fun Fact…
I have an advanced scuba diving certification

Why I am an Advocate..
Serving as a Reclaim advocate something that I enjoy doing, especially when the end result is educating and providing services to peers that they were unaware of. When I think of a peer advocate, I think of a mentor. Someone that you are comfortable with, nonjudgmental and willing and able to give you help when needed. I honestly feel that many incidents on campus that occur UC staff are not aware of, but students are, and this is why peer advocacy is so important to me.
