MOMS (Mothers Organizing Maximum Support) ... a diverse group of student-parents working to support one another, our children, and other mothers at UC and in the surrounding community. We organize events, activities, discussion and information around the issues concerning mothers as well as the needs of our kids to have fun, be part of the community and be with other children. We celebrate our differences, our children and our accomplishments. Please contact Tamika.Odum@uc.edu.
Sexual Assault Survivor Support Group ... a support group that offers women the opportunity to process their experience with peers who understand what they are going through. Members of the group will decide what to discuss each week, although common topics include coping skills, building relationships and healing from the emotional trauma. The group is free and confidential.
All group members will be asked to participate in a 15 minute screening interview. This gives each woman the chance to meet the facilitator, receive information on the group and helps answer any questions or concerns she may have.
