Healthy Mind-Healthy Body
Medical research suggests that when it comes to health, the mind and body are connected. We must learn to function with both working harmoniously together. Once we can master the head and the heart working together we will see great improvements in our daily life. People who learn to manage stress require fewer pain relievers, recovery from surgery faster and deal better with aliments. People who have stronger social networks are better able to weather serous illnesses.
So what does this mean for you?
In order to have a long, healthy life we must learn to be healthy in mind, body and spirit. A good plan of action would be to include not only a balanced diet and physical activity but also some strong mental, social emotional activities.
