REACH can assist your UC department in the event of a critical incident including suicide, armed robbery, violent attack, natural disasters, traumatic accidents, death of a close friend or co-worker.
Educational and supportive group sessions along with discussions that allow people to normalize the event are provided free of charge to the UC community and available upon request.
Because people react differently to traumatic events, immediate responses from a professional are necessary for the well being of the person affected and the morale of the team or department affected.
Some symptoms of trauma are: 1) Increase in anxiety 2) Shaking, crying, headaches 3) Change in sleeping and eating patterns 4) Depression 5) Lowered motivation
You can request CISD services 24-hours a day by calling REACH at 513-556-2506 or 513-556-1222.
