W. Kenneth Stephens, M.D.

Dr. Ken Stephens has worked in college health at the University of Cincinnati since 1975. He is currently Assistant Medical Director and Coordinator of Athletic Medicine for the University Health Services. For the past 30 years, Dr. Stephens has served as team physician for varsity athletes at the University of Cincinnati. Other activities have included:

• Voluntary faculty appointments in Environmental Health, Orthopedics and Family Medicine, as well as College of Education.
• President of the board of directors of the National Operating Committee for Standards in Athletic Equipment.
• Volunteer physician with the U.S. Olympic Committee.
• Fellow in the American College of Preventive Medicine and American College of Sports Medicine.
• Founding member of American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
• Memberships in the American College Health Association and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
  
  Dr. Stephens is also a Pharmacist, having earned his degree at the University of Cincinnati  College of Pharmacy.
