For non-emergency health care needs, first seek care at the University Health Services.  All primary care is no charge for students covered by the Student Health Insurance at either clinic location.  Primary care includes x-ray services, lab services, gynecological services and most dermatological services.  The University Health Services includes a pharmacy where students covered by Student Health Insurance have a co-payment for generic and brand name medications.

Students covered by Student Health Insurance may obtain in-network health care services beyond those available at the University Health Services from the providers listed in the links below.

Insured students must have a referral provided by the University Health Services and dated within the then current academic year in order to receive the highest level of coverage for visits to medical providers outside of the University Health Services.

Dental Discount Plan:
Routine dental care is not covered by Student Health Insurance.  The Basix Dental Plan is offered to students under UC Student Health Insurance to reduce out of pocket expenses for dental care.
