Editorial Statement

The aim of the Journal is to provide an academic forum in which to discuss issues and concerns of educational leadership as they relate to urban environments. The International Journal of Urban Educational Leadership (IJUEL) publishes research from a multiplicity of epistemological perspectives and seeks to enhance rather than limit our knowledge of the field. Given its electronic format, IJUEL encourages alternative, innovative approaches to representation as well as traditional scholarly manuscripts. Our mission is to explore through various modes of inquiry and discourse the complexities of urban educational leadership around the world.
