This fall, UCAST will begin providing online content through the UCAST web site and full episodes of TV shows via free Podcasts in the iTunes music store.
The accompanying video gives a quick overview of some of our upcoming content:
Pilot – This sit-com follows two twenty-somethings’ attempts at producing a successful pilot episode for a TV talk show. Written, produced and acted independently, featuring
UC students from many colleges.
A Salute to Your Shorts - Any student can submit a self-produced short film,
video or music video to air on A Salute to Your Shorts on campus cable channel 51 seven days a week.
UCAST Update - Will feature news, campus programs and events. Update takes the place of the formerly titled Uptown student- run news program and the formerly titled The Mix on Mainstreet. Produced by the UCAST news department.
Bearcats All Access- UCAST’s flagship sports show which will air on UCAST as
well as on ONN (The Ohio News Network). Produced by the UCAST sports department.
UCAST also functions as a teaching organization – any student can join and learn the ins and outs of producing television from more experienced students.
