part of the UC Uptown
Campus East and
the Academic Health Center.
Established
in 1889, the college
was one of the first
schools in the U.S.
to offer a bachelor's
degree in nursing.

In 2002, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited the College of Nursing for a ten-year period. With this approval, the College has the distinction of being continuously accredited for 71 years.

training, UC nursing

clinical settings
throughout the Greater
Cincinnati region,

traveled to Jordan
to meet with dignitaries,

Muna Al Hussein, director
of the country’s
nursing council and
