Uptown Campus West

The Scioto-Morgens Complex, located on the northeast corner of UC's Uptown West Campus, provides a unique living and learning environment. With more than 40 countries represented, it provides an opportunity to experience other cultures and interact with people from many areas of the world.

PLEASE NOTE: The Scioto-Morgens Complex is scheduled to close August 31, 2008, for essential upgrades to conform to the standard life-safety progam for the university's residence halls. This includes the installation of sprinklers and communications structures for the campus-wide voice warning system that is part of UC’s emergency response plan. The residence halls are expected to reopen in 2010. More information.

Basic cable TV and local telephone service is offered at no extra charge. Premium channels (HBO & Showtime) are available at a nominal cost. Vending machines are located on the lobby floor to cure those late night hungers. Laundry facilities are also located on the lobby level for the convenience of the residents. These machines are available 24 hours a day and can be operated with the Bearcat Campus Card or coins.

A game room is available for residents of Scioto and Morgens. It's equipped with a full-size pool table and a ping-pong table. A formal conference room is also available that may be reserved by the residents to hold meetings or to use for studying.

Each building has a lounge located on the lobby level for use by the residents of Scioto and Morgens. These lounges may be reserved for private parties, meetings, or just for informal times with your many neighbors.
